It’s yet another case of too little, too late.

Mitch McConnell and his do-nothing Senate sat on their hands for months while Americans got sick and died in record numbers. They deliberately chose inaction while millions lost their jobs.

And now, they’re trying to strong-arm a “compromise” that does more to shield billion-dollar corporations than working families.

And the stupidity, cruelty, and short-sightedness doesn’t begin and end with Mitch, John.

It’s Sen. Josh Hawley refusing any deal that would give relief money to blue states. It’s Sen. Ted Cruz and Sen. John Cornyn putting in more effort into making jokes about COVID than serving their constituents. It’s Sen. Mike Lee insisting that confirming judges was a bigger priority than passing relief.

We’re not going to mince words: these men are absolute cowards. They’re sellouts. And unless we take action, they’re going to stop any and all attempts to protect public health and get our country back on track.
