Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson blocked $1,200 support checks during COVID relief bill negotiations.

Americans will only get $600 — less than an average rent payment — because Ron Johnson is a hypocrite who supported the $740 billion Pentagon budget and a huge $110,000 tax cut for himself, but then said helping working Americans is too much.¹

Ron Johnson has a secret he doesn’t want you to know about. He claims to be a “successful manufacturer” but that is a bunch of malarkey.

Ron Johnson married into one of the wealthiest families in America. His wealthy father-in-law helped his wealthy brother-in-law, Pat Curler, set-up a manufacturing company called Pacur.² Ron Johnson was given a desk to sit at.

According to SEC reports,³ a large portion of the revenue generated by the brother-in-law’s company were “sales” from the wealthy father-in-law’s company. We all could start a successful business if we had wealthy family members giving us guaranteed orders.

This arrangement is what Ron Johnson uses to call himself a “successful manufacturer” as he spends millions of dollars transferred from his wealthy in-laws’ company to fund his misleading campaigns for the U.S. Senate.⁴

Millions of people in California are represented by two Senators while smaller populations in Montana, Idaho, and the Dakotas usually send 8 Republicans to the Senate.

This is why Senate swing states like Wisconsin are so important. We have a great Democratic Senator, Tammy Baldwin, but we also have Ron Johnson buying elections with money from his wealthy in-laws.

Achieving a Democratic majority in the U.S. Senate is crucial for issues like health care and Supreme Court nominations. Most states are locked-in with two Republicans or two Democratic Senators, but Wisconsin is a Senate swing state that could go either way.

We’re hiring staff now to build the infrastructure needed to kick Ron Johnson out of the U.S. Senate. It’s important to all of us in Wisconsin, but it will also determine the course of our nation.
