A pathway to citizenship would allow Israel to reunite with his family.

Nearly 1 out of every 5 essential workers is an immigrant. Israel is one of them. He’s urging the Biden-Harris Administration and Congress to work to protect immigrant essential workers from day one.

Friend,

Many of us will be spending this holiday season away from our families for the first time because of the COVID-19 pandemic. But Israel hasn’t seen his parents — let alone spent a holiday season with them — in almost seven years.

Israel’s family moved to Mexico back in 2012 because they didn’t see a path to fixing their immigration status or improving their quality of life. In their absence, Israel has worked hard to become a surgical technician, filling an essential role during the pandemic.

A pathway to citizenship would not only allow Israel to pursue his full potential, but also to reunite with his family. Israel and every other immigrant essential worker deserve to live their lives without fear of deportation, and our nation’s COVID-19 recovery will be stronger for it.

Can you share Israel’s story calling on the Biden-Harris Administration and Congress to create a pathway to citizenship for our country’s 11 million undocumented immigrants on day one?

Israel is an essential worker — one of more than nearly 6 million undocumented immigrants providing essential services through the COVID-19 crisis to keep communities across the country safe and fed. Not only are these workers risking their lives to protect their communities, but they are stuck and trapped by our failed immigration system.

To solve this crisis, we must go beyond just reversing the damage done over the last four years; we must transform our entire immigration system #ForOurFamilies. The path forward starts with creating a well-defined pathway to citizenship for millions of undocumented individuals with longstanding ties to the United States.

We join Israel in calling on the Biden-Harris Administration and Congress to prioritize repairing our badly broken immigration system from day one of the new administration. Can you share his story today to help him, his family, and countless others across the country?

Share Israel’s story today to urge the Biden-Harris Administration and Congress to take action to transform our immigration system on day one.

For Israel, myself, and so many others, #WeAreHome in the United States. Let’s make sure it stays that way.

Thank you for supporting immigrants today,
