Dear Friend,
As the sun sets on the shortest day of the year, we look forward to the end of 2020 - an unprecedentedly difficult year for so many - and look forward to the new light bringing a wonderful 2021.Â
We at the Secular Coalition for America (SCA) wish you a happy winter solstice and new year. May it be spent safely in the company of loved ones with an abundance of joy, curiosity, and wonder.
In addition to the Winter Solstice, December 21 will also be the Great Conjunction - the closest convergence of Saturn and Jupiter since the year 1226.  Itâs been nearly 400 years since the planets passed this close to each other in the sky, and nearly 800 years since the alignment of Saturn and Jupiter occurred at night, allowing nearly everyone around the world to witness this âgreat conjunction."
Just like the cosmos, we are also full of change and new horizons. Just recently, SCA and our partner organizations rolled out an ambitious agenda for the coming Congress, we are as excited as we have ever been about the prospects for making real change and advancing our shared secular values in Washington, DC. We know that big things are coming in the new year, but we need the help of trusted allies like yourself to make it happen! If you would like to give to the Secular Coalition for America, please click the "I want to help!" button below. Thank you!
