We're leaving 2020 behind, but we're taking our victories with us into the new year!

Friend —
None of us could have predicted the turmoil that 2020 would bring. This holiday season, our hearts are with those who experienced pain, loss, or struggle over these past months.
As the year comes to a close, we're choosing to celebrate a clear highlight -- the 55% of our candidates who won their general election this fall! ([link removed])
Our team researched an incredible 74,080 candidates and identified 1,019 prochoice champions at the local, state, and federal levels to protect the right to choose.
After the results were tallied, 562 of our prochoice champions celebrated victory -- most of whom won in states with an anti-choice governor.
The impact of these wins, especially as the Supreme Court remains hostile to the legacy of Roe v Wade, will be foundational to the work that lies ahead in the fight for reproductive freedom.

Our team also put out the 10th #VOTEPROCHOICE Voter Guide this fall, and it was bigger and better than ever before!
We reached an amazing 11.4 MILLION prochoice voters, and the #VOTEPROCHOICE Voter Guide featured nearly 34,000 recommendations and endorsements from the top of the ballot all the way down to the local level.
Thank you to the 308K prochoice voters who built a custom prochoice ballot with our guide, and an additional thank you to the 176 partners who contributed endorsements so that we could create the largest, most comprehensive voter guide in the 2020 election.
We're so proud of our work in 2020 ([link removed]) , but we're even more proud of the prochoice candidates who ran for office under unprecedented circumstances, and of the prochoice voters who showed up in historic numbers to put a prochoice administration in the White House.
We've got an incredible fight for reproductive freedom ahead of us in 2021, but by building on everything we accomplished together this past year, we will win.
However you're observing this New Year's season, please take good care.
In solidarity,
Heidi Sieck
