Governor DeWine Appoints Birck to Clermont County Court of Common Pleas

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)?Ohio Governor Mike DeWine today announced the appointment of Mary Lynne Birck to the Clermont County Court of Common Pleas, Domestic Relations Division.

Birck, of New Richmond, will assume office on December 29, 2020, and will be replacing Judge Kathleen Rodenberg.

Birck was an Assistant Clermont County Prosecuting Attorney since 1995. She represented the county and its elected officials in a wide variety of matters, including litigation and personnel. Birck was awarded Community Leader of the Year by the Clermont County Board of Developmental Disabilities for her work representing neglected, abused and exploited clients.

Prior to law school, Birck was a teacher at St. Ursula Academy, where she also served as moderator of World Affairs and Model United Nations.

Birck earned her law degree from University of Cincinnati, College of Law, and undergraduate from University of Chicago with honors. ??

Birck currently is a member of the Clermont County Bar Association Scholarship Committee. Previously, Birck was a board member for Clermont Senior Services, and guest lecturer for University of Cincinnati, College of Law, and Ursuline Academy.
