We're continuing to highlight the ways Governor Edwards has moved Louisiana forward in this difficult year despite opposition from partisan extremists and special interests. We at A Stronger Louisiana believe Governor Edwards has put Louisiana back on the right track. If you agree, please consider making a contribution to support our efforts [[link removed]] to keep Louisiana headed in the right direction.

During the legislative sessions this year, Governor Edwards found himself in a familiar role: defending our state's critical public services. When our state faced a loss of revenue because of the pandemic, our Governor worked to ensure it would not affect the operations of our health care and education systems. While cuts were necessary, the Governor stood up to the legislature and made sure those public services would be there for Louisianans [[link removed]] during the pandemic.

Our state can't go back to the days of devastating cuts to health care and education. Governor Edwards understands that and he's worked tirelessly during his time in office to ensure funding is there for those services. That's just one reason why we're doing our part to support the Governor. We hope you'll help us out [[link removed]] .

Louisianans know how important it is to fund priorities like education, health care, and workforce development. We know it's not "wasteful spending."

Even so, some partisan extremists would cut those very same services if given the chance.

Don't let it happen. A Stronger Louisiana is here to fight back to preserve the progress we've made as a state under Governor John Bel Edwards. Pitch in $15 [[link removed]] now [[link removed]] so we don't have to go back to the days of draconian cuts to our public services.
