Dear John

Big things are happening as we close out 2020. We’ve had significant successes
recently, creating a major wave of momentum as we turn the corner into 2021.
It’s an exciting time – and I hope you will be part of this incredible moment.

Just in the past few weeks, the biggest dam removal in history cleared a major
milestone and is moving forward on the Klamath River – we’re going to ensure it
stays on track with demolition beginning in 2023.

And, American Rivers and our partners celebrated the introduction of legislation
that would protect more than 300 miles of rivers in Montana -- the biggest ever
river protection package in the state.

What’s more, supporters like you helped us double last year’s Giving Tuesday
donations, making it our biggest giving day ever.

As chair of the board of directors at American Rivers, I see firsthand how
important your support is. Without you, our team cannot do the vital work of
ensuring clean water and healthy rivers everywhere, for everyone.

It’s true, our rivers face big challenges. Pollution and dams choke our streams,
harming fish and wildlife. And millions of people lack access to safe, clean
drinking water.

But no one is better positioned to do this work. So please, donate today .

donate because your support goes even further!

Don’t miss this opportunity .

miles of healthy rivers, and safeguard the clean water that is the source of all
life.

Give today ,
