The NRA and other gun industry lobbyists are spending millions in Georgia to stop Democrats from gaining control of the U.S. Senate.

That’s right. If healthcare, climate change, COVID recovery, and the Supreme Court haven’t been enough to convince you to do everything you can to win in Georgia -- there’s guns too.

The NRA knows that if Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff both win their races, the chances of progress toward protecting children and the rest of us from guns will go up.

This election has consequences far beyond Georgia. Senate Republicans are prepared to continue blocking progress at every turn, and right-wing groups will stop at nothing to make it happen.

The NRA knows just how critical these runoff elections are. CNBC reports that, “Since Nov. 15, the NRA’s political arm has spent millions in independent expenditures such as billboards, ads, postcards, texting and canvassing that support Perdue and Loeffler or oppose Ossoff and Warnock.” And you better believe, they are working to make sure their supporters vote.

But we can win this. Polls show both races absolutely neck-and-neck. With early voting already underway, everything -- even gun control -- comes down to how deep Dems’ Get Out The Vote efforts afford to go in Georgia.

They’re not alone. Other gun lobbyist groups are also spending heavily in Georgia.

The New York Times reports, "The Progressive Change Campaign Committee has already raised $386,000 for the two Democratic candidates." That is now over $500,000!"

Thanks for being a bold progressive.
