This was a hard-fought election on top of an already challenging year. But, together, we showed what is politically possible -- defeating this impeached president and building support for our shared progressive agenda for change.

Not only did we elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, but we also had the biggest voter turnout ever in the history of the country. We flipped the Michigan Supreme Court, sent Gary Peters back to the U.S. Senate, and maintained our Democratic House majority.

This is all thanks to your hard work. And I'm grateful to have you by my side. Unfortunately, both during and since the election, Republicans have attacked our election system and disrespected the will of the people -- but together we made sure democracy prevailed.

We now know that nothing, not even a pandemic or an abuse of power, can take the power from the people. Will you keep up that fight by chipping in $10 or more to the Michigan Democratic Party's (MDP) end-of-year fund?

As 2020 comes to a close, we have a lot to celebrate, but the real fight -- on behalf of working people and marginalized communities -- has only just begun. The reason why the MDP was so successful this year was because they don't just start working right before an election.

And they sure don't stop after an election -- they keep working, fighting for progresive economic, racial, social, and environmental change, and laying the groundwork for elections to come. In 2022, Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Attorney General Dana Nessel, and Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson will all be up for re-election and the MDP can't win these races without our support.
