Dear John,

Tonight is the longest night of the year in the richest country in the world. More than 10 million people are without housing or on the brink of homelessness, while more than 18 million homes stand vacant across the country.

As the days begin to lengthen again, we renew our efforts to organize for the world we so desperately need. There are three important events today that we hope you will join.
