John,
Georgia's January 5th U.S. Senate runoff elections are fast approaching—and critical issues that will affect millions of Americans are on the line.
CHN, and our supporters, are working with groups throughout the state to add to critical voter outreach efforts and make sure underrepresented voters have a plan to vote on or before January 5th.
Making calls to Georgia voters is the #1 most effective thing you can be doing, from anywhere in the United States, to make a difference in this crucial election. CHN is partnering with Reclaim Our Vote. Click here to sign up for a phone bank training and call shift tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Our allies are also looking for supporters from anywhere in the country who are fluent in Spanish. If you speak Spanish, email Elizabeth Silva at [email protected] to phone bank with our allies at The Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials (GALEO). GALEO will be hosting phone bank trainings tomorrow, December 22nd and next Tuesday the 29th. We have an urgent need to effectively reach out to Spanish speakers throughout Georgia.
Remember, every time we help someone vote, we empower them to make their voice heard in our democracy. With control of the U.S. Senate at stake, this runoff election in Georgia will determine what kind of agenda we’re able to enact in the first two years of Joe Biden’s presidency.
Together, we are fighting to make sure we elect political leaders who share our priorities to fight for struggling people throughout our country. If you can’t volunteer, that’s OK. Please donate $15 to CHN today—one dollar for each day left until the Georgia runoff election—to power our voter outreach efforts and make sure marginalized communities and communities of color have the resources they need to vote and to make their voices heard.
Thank you for all you do to demand accountability from our political leaders and to fight for the needs of the vulnerable, the sick and the poor.
