This time a year ago, I was preparing for my first General Assembly — winding down our campaign operations, drafting legislation, and setting up my office and constituent services.
Though there were challenges, the 2020 Virginia General Assembly passed the most progressive policy agenda in the history of the Commonwealth. I was proud and humbled to be a part of that history.
My fellow Senators and I will convene soon in Richmond for the 2021 General Assembly. I want to take your voice to the assembly floor with me once again We’ve overcome many challenges together this year.
I want to make sure we kick off the 2021 General Assembly clearly focused on the people’s priorities — your priorities.
