My whole team and I want to wish you and your family well this season. Though we are still in the midst of this pandemic, there is much to be grateful for, including our essential workers and healthcare professionals on the frontlines. I’m also grateful for the support of people like you, who made it possible for us to continue fighting for our values in Congress. I hope you’re able to cherish this time with family and loved ones, whether it be virtual or safely in-person – and hopefully next year, we can resume our normal traditions!

2020 In Review

As we finish up this difficult year, we wanted to share a few updates with you about what we’ve been up to.

From promoting voting rights to fighting for pandemic relief for Kansas’ families and small businesses, Sharice has been busy this year. Here are a few highlights:

Saving the USPS

When Postmaster General DeJoy implemented changes to the postal system in an effort to sabotage the system for his own political agenda, he not only tried to institutionalize voter suppression, but also sacrificed everyday Americans who depend on the postal system for a living – and put folks at risk for not receiving crucial items like prescription drugs. Convention Time!

This year, Sharice joined the Democratic National Convention as Vice-Chair. She was instrumental in organizing the convention to celebrate Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. As a result of the work of the convention – and Democrats across the country – we successfully elected these amazing leaders and are excited to begin working with them after the inauguration!
