"It was raining and snowing and snowing even more …
I swear the snow reached the windows”

Dear John,

Earlier this year, 67-year-old Shakiba had to shovel snow from her tent as it started blocking out the windows.

Six years ago, she and her husband fled the conflict in Syria to seek safety in Lebanon. They left behind missiles and the threat of torture, but instead have had to face storms and bitterly cold winters while living in a tent.

Without your support, Shakiba and her husband might not get the food, fuel or warm blankets they need to keep out the cold. And while this year has almost finished, winter is far from over. They need your help now.

Will you help refugees like Shakiba survive winter?

Just $60 could pay for a solar light to brighten up dark nights, while a generous gift of $300 could cover the cost of a full winter kit for a family, including high thermal blankets, sleeping bags and jackets.

2020 is almost over, let's make a difference together, commit to kindness this winter.

Thank you in advance for your support. Refugees won’t forget your kindness and neither will we.
