John -- In November you helped us elect two more Brand New Congress representatives. Now they’ve been appointed to some very powerful and influential House committees that will shape the laws that impact working people across this country!

This is exactly what we are fighting for. 

Congresswoman-elect Cori Bush will serve on the House Judiciary Committee. The first Black Lives Matter activist elected to Congress will have a seat at the table that oversees the administration of justice within the federal courts, administrative agencies and Federal law enforcement entities.

Congressman-elect Jamaal Bowman will serve on the House Committee on Education and Labor. A progressive educator and school principal will be in the room where policies based around early learning, secondary education, job training and retirement are made.

This is what you helped us achieve. And this is only the beginning.

Our BNC representatives are going to need allies in order to get impactful legislation out of these committees and onto the House and Senate floors if they are to be passed into law.
