John, it’s Jess from Team Ritchie.

I’ll start with the good news: When we asked our grassroots base to step up and help us raise $10,000 before the end of the month to help Ritchie Torres, so many people stepped up. We’re STUNNED!

But here’s the bad news: We’re rapidly approaching our end of quarter deadline and we’re still $3,194 behind our goal. If we miss this goal, it could be detrimental to keeping Ritchie in Congress.

John, I’m asking for your help. We can’t miss this goal. Can you make a $10 donation right now to Ritchie Torres? >>

Ritchie Torres made history last month, and even before being sworn in, he’s making strides in Congress. Just this week, he was appointed to the House Committee on Financial Services!

We need Ritchie in Congress, John. But our campaign is facing our first major public fundraising deadline in just a couple of weeks, and we need to consistently hit our fundraising goals.

But we’re not taking a dime of corporate PAC money. So we rely on small donations like yours to power Ritchie’s movement.

If you’ve been waiting to donate, now is the time. Ritchie may be too polite to beg, but I’m not. We need everyone in this fight. Help us reach our $10,000 goal by chipping in tonight. >>

Ritchie Torres represents the future of the Democratic Party. Raised by a single mother in public housing, Ritchie personally understands the hardships that working families endure. At age 25, Ritchie made history as the youngest elected official to serve on the New York City Council. He fought tirelessly for the working families of The Bronx, and now, he's fighting for those families and for progressive values in Congress. He is the first openly gay Afro Latino ever elected to Congress. Ritchie is a champion for progressive policies to fight poverty and to improve the lives of families just like the one he was raised in.
