Hey Team,
Earlier this week, Congressman-elect Frank Mrvan published an op-ed with the Times of Northwest Indiana in which he discussed the importance of preventing sexual violence against children and supporting victims.
Check his piece out here:
Frank has worked throughout his career to protect the most vulnerable -- including victims of sexual violence. That’s why as North Township Trustee, he established the “No More Secrets” program in schools across Indiana to educate children on body safety and internet safety.
Once in Congress, Frank will continue to expand his work to address sexual violence and assist those in need nationwide. He will work to advance a federal “No More Secrets” program and throw his support behind the RESCUE Act -- legislation that will support the Department of Justice in rescuing children from sexual abuse online.
There is so much more to be done to prevent acts of violence against the vulnerable -- you can learn more by reading Frank’s full op-ed here!
As always, you can count on Frank to have the difficult conversations that are necessary to address these issues, and he is ready to work across the aisle to secure real victories for victims of violence and all of his constituents in Northwest Indiana.
Stay tuned,
Team Mrvan
