Earlier this month, I had the honor of testifying before Congress on the devastating impact of the Hyde Amendment on the communities I provide care for. You can read my statement or watch my testimony here.

We called on Congress to end Hyde, which for 44 years has denied coverage for abortion care to people enrolled in federally sponsored insurance plans, like Medicaid, military health insurance, and federal employee health plans.

Speaking out against dangerous and inequitable policies like Hyde is exactly what PRH trained me and physicians across the country to do. We will not be silent as our patients’ rights are denied.
