We are thrilled to share that we have been chosen as the charity of choice by two-time world champion and 2018 Olympic gold medalist, Eric Radford, for the 2019 season of CBC's Battle of the Blades which premiered last week.

Egale has partnered with the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) for number of years as well as Canadian Association for the Advancement of Women in Sport (CAAWS) and several other sports organizations in an effort to bring wide-spread attention to LGBTQI2S inclusion in sport across Canada.

Our goal is to create a more inclusive environment in sports at all levels across Canada by ensuring:

+  Sport organizations (at all levels) in Canada are aware of LGBTQI2S issues in Canadian sport.

+  Sport organizations in Canada have the capacity (knowledge, skills and abilities) to make Canadian sport more LGBTQI2S inclusive.

+  Sport organizations in Canada commit to taking action on making LGBTQI2S sport more LGBTQI2S inclusive.

We are committed to achieving this goal as we towards achieving a more inclusive Canada. If your organization or team is looking to be more inclusive of LGBTQI2S people, please contact us for more information at [email protected].
