How do we build a movement that ends war?
How did we build a movement that already educates thousands of people, divests millions of dollars, and helps prevent wars and influence governing bodies?
Primarily, we found thousands of people in 188 countries and growing, willing to sign a two-sentence peace pledge. Will you join them by clicking here.
How does signing a pledge end war?
It shows media outlets and elected officials our power.
And -- if you check the little boxes below the pledge when you sign it -- it tells us what interests you and what doesn't, so that we can better help you be part of the movement.
And -- if you add a short quotable statement on why you want to end war -- it gives us great material for social media and other outlets.
Won't you take 60 seconds and tell the world you want peace on earth?
Of course, we cannot do it without your donations as well.
We have yet to get a single cent of corporate funding or even one lousy Pentagon contract.
(No, we are not ever going to ask for either of those things. That was what in my mind passes for a joke. Please don't send me angry emails. :-)
Without the support of countless individuals we won't be able to keep growing.
