It ain’t Virginia if there isn’t an election right around the corner.

Two special elections are coming up for critical seats in the House of Delegates on January 5th -- we need your help to make sure we keep them blue and have a solid majority for the legislative session coming up in a few weeks.

Key votes to pass gun safety legislation, raise the minimum wage, tackle climate change, and more came down to the wire in the last legislative session, and we have to keep as many seats in our column this year if we want to keep making progressive change. That’s why these special elections coming up are so critical. Republicans want to set the tone for 2021 by flipping our districts. We can’t let them win.

These elections are somewhat unexpected, but the seats are worth fighting for. HD-2 was a Republican seat until 2017 and the GOP will be fighting tooth and nail to take it back. We need to keep that from happening!

We already have great candidates with Angelia Williams Graves in HD-90 and Candi King in HD-2. With less than a month for these candidates to campaign, we need to hit the ground running to ensure we hold our majority and push back the Virginia GOP at every turn.
