I never once dreamed I'd run for U.S. Senate. Not many kids who grow up with 11 brothers and sisters in public housing imagine they'll end up in Washington someday. But from those humble beginnings, I went on to earn a college degree and worked my way up to serving as the senior pastor at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s church.

Now, with your help, I've made it to the runoff election and could become Georgia's first-ever Black senator. I'm running because the opportunities that made my journey possible are growing further and further out of reach for too many people across this country.
