Trump was threatening to veto the defense bill House Democrats wanted to pass. But then, House Democrats passed the bill with a VETO-PROOF majority, meaning that nothing the president says or does will make a difference.

It's a great feeling. And it goes to show how, no matter what the commander-in-chief says or does, the party that controls Congress ultimately gets to set the agenda.

That's also what's got us so worried.

Because right now, Republicans hold 50 seats in the Senate. If they win even one of the two runoff elections in Georgia, they'll then control the chamber.

They'll be able to treat Biden the way Democrats just treated Trump -- passing whatever they want no matter what the occupant of the Oval Office tries to do to stop them.

We want Democrats to grow their power under the next administration, not lose it. But that ball is still up in the air. Where it lands is up to you.

We know you likely won't be able to vote in Georgia's elections. (If you can, please do -- it will mean the world!)
