Hi John!

Come January, we could have Kamala Harris, the first Black and Asian American woman vice president, as the tie-breaking vote in the Senate. Or we could have another two years of Mitch McConnell’s legislative graveyard -- and the decision comes down to two special elections in Georgia.

McConnell and the GOP have the cards stacked in their favor. Georgia has one of the longest histories of voter suppression in the country, especially when it comes to blocking the voices of Black Americans. More than that, Republicans have consistently won runoffs in the state since Democratic turnout typically falls off for special elections.

But we’re not falling into a self-fulfilling prophecy -- not when the progress we can achieve for voting rights, reproductive justice, affordable access to health care, and climate action are on the line.

Stacey Abrams knows we can win. She knows “if we can run up the score in absentee balloting, if we can get those ballots banked, if we can run up the score again, that’s how we increase the margin of victory.” Abrams helped us win the state for Biden, and now she’s ready to help us flip the Senate. That’s why today, we’re hoping you’ll support us in raising funds for Stacey Abrams’s Fair Fight and our efforts to elevate more women like her in politics.

The GOP knows that Abrams and progressive organizers in Georgia have the power to flip the Senate blue in January. That’s why the RNC announced it is launching a massive field operation in the state while McConnell-aligned super PACs have invested nearly $140 million in Georgia.

Thank you for supporting us every step of the way -- and for standing with us in a moment where so many are disengaging from politics.

You are the reason we have a chance to again turn the Senate blue.
