You’ve heard from Bernie, Ro, Pramila, and Ilhan over the last few days.
And now I want to share with you why I believe in Justice Democrats and
the work they are doing.

JD is transforming the Democratic Party from the inside out by recruiting
and electing people who actually represent the communities they come from.
They helped me win in Michigan’s 13th District with the power of
grassroots organizing.

Now, Justice Democrats is launching their official recruitment drive for
2022. I’m writing to ask if you’ll make a donation to support them as they
try to recruit progressive candidates to run across the country.

In the last election, JD helped recruit Jamaal Bowman, who will be joining
me in Congress in January. Another JD recruit, Cori Bush, won her race in
St. Louis after running a second time. We know this works! Community
leaders can win if we spend the time to recruit them and support their
campaigns.

It takes a lot of resources to spread Justice Democrats’ nomination form
far and wide in order to get it into the hands of working-class people who
have a friend, family member, or co-worker who they believe should
represent their community in Congress. Their average contribution this
year is just $18. JD is funded by people chipping in what they can afford
because they believe in electing more leaders who will fight for economic,
social, racial, and environmental justice for all.

JD is one of the only organizations that recruits candidates from across
the country and helps them defeat entrenched, corporate-PAC backed
incumbents. A donation of any amount will help them find the next
working-class, transformative leaders who I will be proud to fight
alongside in Congress.
