We’re on a mission to save asylum. The Trump administration just came out with a rule that will gut the asylum system in less than 30 days. This rule cannot simply be reversed by a Biden administration. We must work together to stop it in its tracks.

Despite the fact that under U.S. and international law, we must safeguard refugees seeking humanitarian protection, the current administration is doing everything it can to entrench anti-immigrant policies in its final days. If they are successful, it could mean deporting hundreds or thousands of asylum seekers who escaped harm or death in their countries simply for being queer, trans, or HIV-positive.
