As the Organizing Manager at RepresentUs, it’s my job to mobilize volunteers across America to win campaigns for the anti-corruption movement.

Our volunteers build momentum using technologies that allow them to send millions of texts and make tens of thousands of phone calls to voters.

We only have three organizers on our staff, but we have thousands of members willing to take action. To scale our impact in 2021, we need to update our digital organizing tools leftover from our days as a scrappy start-up.

The Covid-19 pandemic has made it clear how critical online organizing is. It also pointed out gaps in our toolset that we’re working to close ASAP, with your help.

Our goal as a movement is as ambitious as it is crucial: End political corruption, so that our government works for us, not a handful of billionaires and special interests. Thankfully, I know for a fact that our volunteers are up to the challenge -- we just need to get the right tools into their hands.

Once we upgrade our toolsets, our volunteers will be able to:

  • Host their own events and calls – and stay in contact with attendees to keep them engaged in campaigns; 
  • Drive exponentially more calls and texts to hold corrupt politicians accountable; 
  • Use a sophisticated, user-friendly database to strengthen their own networks and relationships; and
  • Grow our movement to include the 3.5% of the population we know it takes to create real change.

It is unbelievable what I’ve seen our volunteers accomplish. If we are able to pair their heroic efforts with powerful, intuitive, and efficient tools, we’ll truly be able to fight corruption in every community in America.
