Hi friend --

Even the top scientist of Trump's "Operation Warp Speed" could not explain the absolutely ridiculous executive order the 45th president chose to issue concerning the prioritization of vaccine delivery.

How exactly does Trump think his order -- which declares that Americans are first over the other residents of the globe when it comes to getting inoculated -- could theoretically be enforced? It makes no sense. Per POLITICO, drugmakers and other countries have already started making deals over the delivery of relevant supplies.

He lost the election, and now he's just trying to get attention any way he can.

It's more than that, though, friend. This order undercuts America's prestige even further than the last four years already have. It confuses our allies and Trump's own administration. Additionally, it puts Joe Biden in a tough spot -- now he has to clean up this nebulous mess once he takes office.

Don't worry, friend, President-elect Biden will certainly do his best to lift America's standing back up in the eyes of the world once sworn in.

In the meantime, however, efforts like these to hamstring the country and everyone's recovery are completely inexcusable.
