Good grief.
- Yesterday, the news website Business Insider broke a story reporting that nearly half of the $1.26 billion raised throughout Donald Trump’s failed reelection bid was paid out to a shell company the site says was concocted by Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner.
- The shell company (of which, reportedly, Eric Trump’s wife, Lara Trump, was the president and Mike Pence’s nephew, John Pence, was the vice president) allegedly paid salaries to some of Trump’s family members and top advisors.
- By funneling expenses through the shell company, the Trump gang was able to dodge federal campaign spending disclosure rules.
- Even some people who worked on Trump’s campaign say they didn’t know about this shell company or what it actually did.
- And nobody — not Donald, not Jared, not Ivanka, not the Vice President, nobody — is saying where all that money went.
This family — this administration — is a writhing mass of poisonous serpents sinking their fangs into every grift they get a whiff of.
Join Public Citizen in demanding that Jared Kushner tell the American people where all that money went and whether he and other Trump family members personally profited from his involvement.

Thanks for taking action.

P.S. For half a century, Public Citizen has been advancing policies that put the needs of everyday Americans before the greed of billionaires and Big Business. That legacy of progress and that ongoing work could not matter more right now, as our nation transitions to a Joe Biden presidency that will be as progressive as we — you and Public Citizen, together — make it.
Of course, we’re also busy undoing damage the Trump administration has already done and watching out for whatever shenanigans a lame-duck Donald Trump tries to get away with. And — like so many nonprofits and small businesses — we continue to experience financial strain related to the coronavirus pandemic.
If you can, please make an emergency donation today to support the critical work we’re doing together or even join our popular Monthly Giving program. Thank you.
