Day 5: Why are BLM champions killing so many black babies?
Dear Friend and Supporter,
Marie Stopes International, the abortion provider which killed 4.6 million unborn babies last year (2019), has announced that it will now be known as MSI Reproductive Choices.
Many saw this move as a calculated (and cynical) attempt by MSI to distance itself from its eugenicist and racist founder, Marie Stopes.
And who could blame them?
People today like to think they are totally opposed to racist and eugenicist thinking - and it’s right that they do aspire to oppose such evils.
Unfortunately, as I explain, some of the world’s most powerful governments and international organizations have never been more racist and eugenicist. Pressure from the recent Black Lives Matter protests prompted MSI to admit that founder Marie Stopes was:
"...[a] supporter of the eugenics movement and expressed many opinions which are in stark contrast to MSI's core values and principles."
Statements by its founder include:
- "... it is the urgent duty of the community to make parenthood impossible for those whose mental and physical conditions are such that there is a certainty that their offspring must be physically and mentally tainted..."
Stopes wanted their sterilisation made compulsory, otherwise she claimed there would be an:
- "…ever increasing stock of degenerate, feeble-minded and unbalanced who will devastate social customs…like the parasite upon a healthy tree."
In 1921, Stopes founded The Society for Constructive Birth Control and Racial Progress.
Her birth control clinics in Britain were clustered in deprived areas with the focus on reducing the birth rate of the poor lower classes and preventing the birth of those whom she considered to be "the inferior, the depraved, and the feeble-minded."
Today, MSI is targeting millions of deprived people in developing countries.
All that’s changed is that Africans and Asians have replaced the British underclass of “undesirables” who the international ruling elites have deigned should not breed.
According to its latest Annual Report, Marie Stopes works in 37 countries around the globe, mainly in Africa and Asia.
Whilst endorsing the Black Lives Matter message at home, Northern European and North American governments are far and away the biggest financial backers of the mass killing of black babies overseas.
Of the 4.6 million unborn babies killed by MSI in 2019, the vast majority were Asians and Africans.
The UK’s Department for International Development (DFID) led the way with grants totalling £46.7 million – making it once again the single largest MSI donor.
Other big government donors were:
- Global Affairs Canada (£5.2M), Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs (£5.09M), Swedish International Development Agency (£3.68M), Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (£3.66M), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark (£3.2M)
The only reason that the United States does not appear on this list is because pro-life President Trump reinstated the Global Gag Rule in 2019, banning the use of federal funding for overseas abortions.
This ban will almost certainly be lifted should Joe Biden replace Donald Trump in the White House in January.
When it comes to funding the killing of black babies and reducing the populations of black nations, powerful International bodies and foundations also feature largely.
- The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (£6.5M), and the United Nations (£3.2M)
The central role rich western governments play in propping up the abortion industry is a sobering reminder of how big the challenge to end abortion really is.
“Big Tech” is another huge obstacle standing in our way
Evidence has recently come to light of Big Tech companies like Google, Facebook and Twitter influencing the outcome of key elections and referenda on which key abortion policies rest.
The 2018 Irish Abortion Referendum is a case in point.
Owing to the virtual stranglehold over the debate held by multinational corporations and the Mainstream Irish Media, the only effective way left for the pro-life side to get over its message to the Irish people was through social media channels.
But in the critical weeks running up to the vote, Google and Twitter placed a total ban on all referendum-related advertising on their platforms, suppressing the pro-life side’s message.

A Facebook ban on all referendum advertising - of either persuasion - by donors from outside Ireland quickly followed, disproportionately affecting the pro-life campaign.
The ban on overseas advertising made it impossible for the vast pro-life Irish diaspora around the world to influence the outcome of the referendum and avert the wholesale slaughter which the “Yes” vote eventually unleashed on Irish babies in 2018.
Google holds enormous power
With a staggering 92% of search engine market share worldwide, Google effectively controls our view of the world, and ultimately, how we behave.
This is an enormous problem for unborn babies.
Important new studies show that Google is worryingly biased against traditional positions, including the pro-life position.
Dr Robert Bernstein, a world-renowned research psychologist at the American Institute for Behavioral Research and Technology in California, has been following the effect that Google has on important election outcomes.
Did Silicon Valley attempt to determine the 2020 presidential elections?
Bernstein predicted that by working together to support the same presidential candidate [Joe Biden] – which he said was “very likely” – the big social media platforms, Google, Facebook and Twitter, had the power to:
“…shift upwards of 15 million votes [about 10% of all votes] without no one ever knowing that they had been manipulated, and without leaving any paper trail for authorities to trace.”
Dr Bernstein (an open supporter of a Biden presidency) tracked the effect that Google had had on the November presidential election and his findings were startling:
- He found that Google’s search results were strongly biased in favour of liberals and democrats – in fact, conservatives got slightly more liberal bias in their search results than liberals.
- For a period of days prior to the election “vote reminders” (on-screen notices on Google’s home page to encourage people to vote) were sent ONLY to liberals. When Dr Bernstein went public with this information, Google immediately shut off its algorithm and vote reminders were shown to everyone in the run-up to election day.
In the 2020 US presidential election, Dr Bernstein calculates that:
“…Google manipulations [even without help from Facebook and Twitter] could have shifted at least six million votes in one direction [to Joe Biden]”.
We are facing the possibility of a heavily pro-abortion Joe Biden taking office, and one of his first acts as president is expected to be the lifting of the ban on US federal funding for overseas abortion.
Without a level playing field, unborn babies cannot expect a fair hearing.
- Censorship of pro-life vigils in England is stopping women getting the help they need to keep their babies.
- And by closing down free speech, online pro-abortion media and Big Tech are denying women the ability to make an “informed” choice about their options.
Google, Twitter and Facebook can no longer be trusted to be impartial. And with the risk of being shut down growing by the day, SPUC must seek out other alternatives.
We are depending on you, and supporters like you, to help us fund new alternative social media platforms as well as other approaches to ensure that our message gets out.
And countless women struggling with the toughest decision of their lives are counting on you to keep the channels of hope and truth open for them.
The truths which are being suppressed by Google and others desperately need to be heard.
Will you help fight for a “Level Playing Field” in the media for unborn babies & mothers TODAY?
Will you get personally involved and give babies - and their mothers - the strong voice they so badly need in the media, elevating their plight in the hearts and minds of voters, politicians, journalists, educators and others who hold the key to bringing about lasting change.

1. Donating £10 or £15 or £25 or £50 - or if you are blessed with the means to do so, a larger gift of £100 or more - would help fund SPUC’s growing number of outreach projects, like Pulse, which is taking the pro-life message direct to the people of Britain, cutting out the Big Tech middle-men.
Armed with just an iPad and video camera, SPUC’s Pulse team stop people in the street, and presented with the facts, many change their minds about abortion. The first Pulse episode posted on YouTube reached 37,880 people.

2. Pledging a monthly gift of £5, £10, or £15 a month – or if you are in a position to increase an existing monthly gift to SPUC by a similar amount – can help SPUC invest in alternative social media platforms, bypassing Facebook and Google, AVOIDING censorship and suppression, and reaching many more people with the pro-life message.

Thank you for all that you do and have done to help rid this country of the terrible scourge of abortion and to keep the enemies of our babies and mothers firmly at bay.
Yours in defence of life

PS: Black lives should matter in Africa and Asia as much as they do in America and Britain, but without the exception of age as a condition on the right to life.
This is the true pro-life message. It’s what makes our cause so special and worth fighting for.
Indeed, hope in new life is the wonderful message we hold close to our hearts throughout Advent as we anticipate the joy of Christ’s birth on Christmas Day.
And firm in this hope and with full confidence in God’s all-powerful Providence, we are assured that the war on our babies WILL one day end and that we WILL be victorious.
