Hi John,

Over the past two years, the Republican-controlled Senate has blocked critical policies passed by Mary Gay and her colleagues in the House that would have improved the lives of the American people.

Right now, Democrats have the chance to take back the Senate by flipping two seats in the upcoming January 5 runoff. If we can gain control of the Senate, we can ensure a COVID stimulus package is passed. We can pass policies to protect the integrity of our election and expand voting access. We can take action on infrastructure and the climate crisis. And we can answer the calls for justice that rang out all summer long.

Without control of the Senate, our progress will be extremely limited. To win, we need to support the groups on the ground who will turn out voters and stand up to the GOP’s suppression efforts.
