Friend,

We know that the Proud Boys have made it their mission to defend Donald Trump’s far-right, white-nationalist agenda -- but according to POLITICO, there’s a new group we should be worried about.

The Oath Keepers, an extremist militia group composed of former and current military and police officers, have exploded in popularity throughout Trump’s presidency -- and they’re making electoral gains in local governments across the country.

As POLITICO reports, the growth of the Oath Keepers “may represent a shift for a group that was once seen as a governmental antagonist but is now establishing itself inside the halls of the elected officialdom.”

It’s terrifying to think that a group that has called for the execution of Democrats, incited violence against social justice protesters, and created armed protests in support of ICE could thrive in elected offices across the country. But it is indicative of the implications of Trump’s legacy.

These groups thrive because they go unchecked. Because Americans consider them harmless until it’s too late. We MUST make it clear that extremists have no place in our government, but first, we need to know if supporters like you are with us, or if you believe groups like the Oath Keepers are a nonissue. Please, tell us:

Are you concerned by the rise of far-right militia groups?
