Dear John,
As we begin to reflect back on 2020, we remember those in our community that we’ve lost from the COVID-19 pandemic, from police violence, and from the ongoing inequities in the systems around us.
We also remember the resilience of our community to come together and build a world in which each of us has what we need to be safe. We are proud that Grassroots Leadership’s work and our community continue to fight to build equity for us all, to repeal harmful laws, to divest from policing and incarceration, to center community building, and to prioritize life, abundance, joy, and transformation .
