Help us congratulate Representative Deb Haaland!

Hi John,

Yesterday was an amazing, historic day. Emerge New Mexico alumna Representative Deb Haaland was nominated to serve as Interior Secretary.

Representative Haaland made history in 2018 as one of the first Native American women in Congress. And she is once again making history today as the first Native American secretary of the Department of the Interior. She also continues to make Emerge history, this time as the first Emerge graduate to serve as a U.S. Cabinet Secretary.

We want to show our appreciation for Representative Haaland by showing her how many people are cheering her on throughout the Emerge network. Will you help us congratulate Representative Haaland by signing this card from Emerge?

Representative Haaland's nomination signifies a historic shift in American politics, where those most impacted by government policies not only have a seat at the decision-making table, but they are leading the decision-making process. This is exactly what we mean when we say “changing the face of politics”.

We are humbled and honored to call Representative Deb Haaland one of our graduates and we are thrilled to watch her continue to make history.

Congratulations, Representative Haaland! We are so proud of you.

Show Representative Haaland your support by signing our card!
