In just a moment, I am going to ask you to make a contribution to our campaign before our next official FEC fundraising deadline comes to an end. I hope you will give me a chance to explain why this request — especially today — is so important.

Here is the truth, and it’s something probably no other presidential candidate would say aloud:

And that truth is that no candidate — not Bernie Sanders or anyone else running for president — can take on Donald Trump and the billionaire class of this country alone.

There is only one way that is possible, and that is together.

So when I say “Not Me. Us.” that is what I mean. It is more than just a slogan; it is our only chance.

And with our FEC fundraising deadline coming to a close in just a few days, I have to ask you to do something very important for our campaign:

Can I count on you to make a contribution to our campaign before the end of this FEC deadline? Our job is to report as many donations as we possibly can, and the one you can make right now would go a long way toward helping us hit our goals.
