Joe Biden has laid out a plan to control the pandemic within his first 100 days in office. The most important step? Ensuring that everyone wears a mask.
Biden has consistently said that he would push for a nationwide mask mandate -- despite already receiving pushback from Republicans across the country -- and he has now made it clear he will sign an executive order to require masks within areas under federal authority.
Sadly, wearing a mask has become highly politicized, and public health experts are running out of ways to warn Americans about the consequences of not abiding by public health guidelines.
