The quarter-end is just days away -- thank you for contributing by September 30.

RE-SCHEDULING TO NEXT QUARTER
Joe Reeder
Cordially invites you to a Fundraiser Reception on Tuesday, September 24, to support
Presidential Candidate Joe Sestak

Pat Rynard of Iowa Starting Line [[link removed]] wrote that since announcing his candidacy June 23, former 3-star Admiral Joe Sestak has spent his time getting to know the people of Iowa and “has a unique story… Sestak is certainly the only person in the field who can say things like, ‘When I arrived in the Arabian Sea with my carrier battle group to begin the strikes against Afghanistan.’” The editorial board of the Des Moines Register [[link removed]] said, “[This] retired Navy admiral and former congressman impresses with experience, smarts and discipline….”

Vox called Joe [[link removed]] a “maverick” and “an anti-establishment Democrat who has beaten a Republican in a Republican district, he’s someone with military and foreign policy experience, and he has a deeply personal reason for his approach to health care reform: This is his record and he’s running on it” while National Review called him [[link removed]] “the most interesting Democrat” in the race.

Joe's growing coalition is bringing together Democrats, Independents and Republicans, appealing to a sense of greater national purpose, above party, to heal our nation’s soul. He believes that a nation that can “disagree well” is a nation that can begin to overcome its rifts and tackle our greatest challenges.

Joe is an experienced, independent leader who served in the Navy for 31 years , including in the White House as Director of Defense Policy for President Clinton, and in Congress (Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District – nearly 2-to-1 Republican where he was reelected without spending a dime on campaign ads ).

An independent-minded public servant, Joe refused to let former Republican Arlen Specter – who tried to humiliate Anita Hill during her testimony on sexual harassment by now-Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas – run unopposed for the Senate. Joe beat the odds to win the primary.

Please come to hear why Joe inspires such passionate support across Iowa with his grassroots campaign and Plan for America [[link removed]] . Check out JoeSestak.com .
