With a pivotal Senate runoff election in Georgia scheduled for Jan. 5, 2021, and with COVID-19 cases surging throughout much of the country, CLC and a coalition of voting rights advocacy groups urged Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to institute a series of key nonpartisan voting rights reforms to make voting safer and more secure.
In a letter sent to the Secretary of State on Nov. 30, 2020, CLC and partners outlined the plan of action that Georgia needs to take to help voters cast a ballot that counts without needless obstacles.
