Jim wants to protect our state’s environment and preserve our natural resources for future generations
Hi there John,
As a fifth-generation Mississippian and a dedicated outdoorsman, Jim wants to protect our state’s environment and preserve our natural resources for future generations.
After the Deepwater Horizon oil spill off our coast in 2010, he took on BP and held them accountable to the tune of $2 billion.
In 2017, Jim went after corporations that were dumping toxic waste in Yalobusha County. And now, he’s fighting to get answers for concerned Mississippians about the devastating effects of the Bonnet Carré Spillway openings.
As governor, Jim will prioritize holding polluters accountable, protecting our coastlines, and preventing environmental degradation.
We’re interested in hearing your thoughts on how he can best protect and preserve our environment and natural resources.

Thanks a lot!
