And the most crucial congressional elections, the ones that will decide whether Mitch McConnell holds the power of the Senate or is kept under control by Democrats, are coming up on January 5. It is not an exaggeration to say the fate of our country rests in Georgia.
Right-wing special interests are pumping money into these races in a last-ditch effort to keep the Senate red and hinder Joe Biden’s ability to govern as president. Mitch McConnell, Rudy Giuliani, and the whole Trump team would love nothing more than to see that happen.
With the stakes of the battle for Congress so high, we MUST fight back. We must increase our support for progressive causes and candidates. But our coffers are depleted, and many grassroots supporters have stopped paying attention since November 3 and stopped giving.
Please, you remember how tough it was for Obama to get anything done with a Republican Senate. We can’t let that happen again under Joe Biden. We need to finish strong and fight to the last. We’re doing everything we can -- but our work to push back against right-wing interests fighting to keep the Senate red would be massively amplified with your help.
