Hey John – Andrea here (I’m Ted’s partner). I wanted to take a quick break from our Sunday meal prep to send you this note.
Ted’s a pretty humble guy, so I wanted to make sure you heard about Ted’s accomplishments from someone who’s been by his side through it all for the last nine years.
When Ted was elected mayor of Clarkston, he went straight to work to make our city the progressive and inclusive place it is today. He paved the way for a more diverse city council, increased the local tax base, and raised the minimum wage to $15 per hour.
Now, he’s made the courageous choice to run to bring progressive leadership to the Senate – but he’s going to need your help. (If we were multimillionaires like David Perdue, I probably wouldn’t be meal prepping today…) Will you chip in $5 to Ted’s people-powered campaign?
Watching Ted pour his heart and soul into serving the people of Clarkston as their mayor has been so inspiring. His dedication, his compassion, and his progressive values are exactly what Georgians need and deserve in Washington.
And I know that as the first millennial Senator, he will be a breath of fresh air to the U.S. Senate. (After all… you’d be hard pressed to find anyone else in that chamber who’s been personally mentored by Antoni, Tan, Karamo, Bobby, and JVN.)
As you may know, the FIRST end of quarter FEC deadline is quickly creeping up on us and this could be a make-or-break moment for Ted’s campaign. Join me in supporting Ted for Senate and contribute now!
With love,
Councilwoman Andrea Cervone
