President Trump is personally lobbying a foreign government to investigate the son of a political opponent. It is deeply unpatriotic, corrupting, and a fundamental abuse of power for personal gain. If House Democrats don’t put a stop to it, no one will. The American people are entitled to the transparency impeachment hearings will bring about.
Republicans decided long ago that they love power more than they love our democracy. That’s why they rip away our voting rights, gerrymander our voting districts, and excuse these blatant breaches of our national security.
The American people deserve to know if corruption is festering in our government’s highest ranks. Voters turned out in historic numbers in 2018, including in Georgia, to hold this administration accountable. We’re sick of waiting.
