We know their games by now. We know they'll criticize every plan Democrats propose, and we know that if they control the Senate, they'll do everything they can to obstruct progressive policies -- whether that's paying teachers more, taking bold action on climate change, expanding health care, providing pandemic relief, or any one of the policies that over 80 million Americans showed their support for by voting for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

The good news is that Democrats took the White House and may even take the Senate if we win the two crucial runoff elections in Georgia. And we're feeling optimistic about Biden's calls for unity and compromise in government -- but we're also feeling like we've been burned before.

Counting on Republicans to cooperate is definitely NO safe bet. At this moment, the GOP is doing everything they can to keep the Senate red, and many aren't even acknowledging Joe Biden as the next president yet. That gives a pretty clear idea of how they'll treat him once he's in office.

We're doing our best to support progressive leaders, advance legislation that will put everyday Americans first, and throw our full weight behind the next administration. But we're a grassroots movement, and grassroots donations have dropped off after the election.
