I'm floored by the response we got to yesterday's campaign kickoff!


It means the world to have you all standing with me as we fight to fix a broken system that has left too many American families shut down, let down and left behind.

We've still got a ways to go (we've set a goal of 2,500 grassroots donations before the end of the month), but we're off to an incredible start.

It seems like a million fantastic things happened yesterday, but here's what fired me up the most: hearing from so many people who want to build an America that works for all of us - who are ready to pass the megaphone to people whose voices don't get heard and who've been cut out or silenced or pushed to the margins.

I'm inspired that our movement is made up of people who are ready to fight - not just for themselves, not just for their own family - but for all families and for everyone who calls this country home.

Our campaign's just getting started, but I couldn't be more excited about where we're headed and what we'll accomplish together. Chip in now and let's get to work!
