** Gender Equality Updates
------------------------------------------------------------
It's been a year like no other. Around the world, people have faced unprecedented hardship and suffering; almost no part of life has gone untouched. The fight for gender equality is no exception. From surging reports of domestic violence to disproportionate economic losses to humanitarian disasters, the situation for women and girls has worsened globally during the COVID-19 pandemic. In the midst of this crisis, we have also witnessed remarkable acts of resilience and heroism. We're reflecting on the moments that inspired us and the people behind them –– from frontline workers to youth activists to parents at home –– whose stories highlight the incredible strength of the human spirit and our miraculous capacity for hope, even in the darkest of times.

As we move into 2021, we’re in this together.

** Donate to help women today

------------------------------------------------------------
COVID-19 has hit women hard. The burden of care – at home or in health systems – is largely borne by women. Women are at increased risk of violence from abusive partners during lockdowns. Women hold two-thirds of the jobs that will be lost and not recovered. Your donation can help improve the lives of women around the world. ([link removed])
