Rallying the (Text)Troops!

We’ve got a big day ahead of us and we need your help! This weekend we’re texting to re-elect John Bel Edwards for Governor of Louisiana and elect Ike Jackson for Attorney General. 

These races are incredibly important. Edwards is the only Democratic governor in the Deep South as well as the only Democrat holding statewide office in Louisiana–which voted for Trump by over 20 points. Because of this, the Washington Post recently ranked this race as the 2nd most important governor’s race of 2019.

We want to ensure Governor Edwards keeps up the good work for the people of Louisiana. We want to keep a Democratic presence in our southernmost states. Finally, we’d love to flip another Attorney General seat blue! To do all of that, WE NEED YOU to send 50,000 TEXTS in the next 4 hours!
