The holidays are upon us and I know it has been a challenging year for everyone. The COVID-19 pandemic has forced us to adjust to a new normal, but it has also given us even more of a reason to be compassionate and give back to our neighbors this holiday season.
I have selected these food banks serving different parts of our state and region that need our support: the Greater Chicago Food Depository, Midwest Food Bank, Operation Food Search, Northeast Community Fund, the Central Illinois Food Bank, and the Northern Illinois Food Bank.
