My name is Theresa Greenfield.

I'm a mom, a business leader, and a farm kid, and that's why I'm running for U.S. Senate against Joni Ernst.

Growing up on a farm, it was all hands on deck -- feeding the hogs, baling hay, and helping my dad map the fields. And as the farm crisis hit, I also worked at a canning factory and as a waitress to help make ends meet. It was those days that taught me if you worked hard, you got a fair shot -- but that's not how things are anymore.

It's time to take the values I learned on the farm to Washington. Every Iowan deserves a chance to succeed, and it's time hard-working Iowans get a fair shot once again.

Instead, Joni broke her promise to Iowans as she stood with ultra-wealthy CEOs and corporate lobbyists on K Street -- voting for the GOP's massive tax scam, granting billions of dollars in tax cuts to big corporations and the top one percent at the expense of everyday Iowans.

I'm running to give breaks to working folks instead. We're going to invest in our education system, small businesses, and affordable health care -- for all of us.
