Focused on youth and mothers, these two initiatives were: Policies Advancing Transformation and Healing (PATH), addressing young people ages 16-25; and Moving on Maternal Depression (MOMD), aimed at mothers experiencing depression and other mental health challenges.

Supporting Workers in the States

CLASP works on many issues at both the state and federal levels. One of our newest policy analysts, Nat Baldino, has blogged on two issues of importance to workers earning low wages: 1) the successful state ballot initiative in Colorado to establish paid family and medical leave and 2) the “right to return” effort in Washington, D.C. that will help workers return to jobs they lost due to the pandemic.
